NOPE. Just looked at an example of modifying JSON using Lua in Redis. Modifying the serialised JSON with a regex was NOT what I had in mind.
Also not too impressed that the example is about as easy to read as an obfusticated Perl one-liner. Think I'll leave Lua out of the equation, unless it's a client requirement, or unless it's to check/set/unset a mutex, which I feel COULD be useful for avoiding conflicts.
*eyeroll* Looking at another example, different site, THE DESCRIPTION IN NO WAY RELATES TO THE (NOT GIVEN) EXAMPLE. What's with these HOWTOs written by fsckwits? Yesterday it was Redis examples where a load of extra punctuation had got dropped in, completely invalidating the code.
