This is the final story in my #antarctica series (for now) and it's a doozy. It's about aliens in the Antarctic.
It's not some ąŋƈıɛŋɬ ąƖıɛŋʂ under the ice type affair though. It's about the very real threat introducing non-native species to the continent poses. As the world warms, more pathways are opening up to bring in plants and animals that could disrupt the Antarctic ecosystem.

So here’s some fun #hamradio and #electronics eye candy. Been working on this radio-rocket project. The electronics sled slides inside the rocket body tube, and the box in the back is the beginning of the ground station. They communicate via #LoRa on 70cm, and a #nodered dashboard the gets the data from the ground station shows the rocket data. Rocket also has an #aprs transmitter for location that way. It should be ready for its first test launch as soon as I order engines.
